About Us
Our Purpose
HBL is a shared services organisation set up to help DHBs deliver quality healthcare at a lower cost by working smarter and reducing duplication and administrative costs. HBL is owned by the New Zealand Government and is mandated to find ways of delivering greater quality to health delivery through more efficient processes.
HBL's vision is to build a network of shared services for New Zealand's health sector that delivers transformational improvement in non-clinical support services for DHBs.
Organisational Structure
HBL is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by its shareholders. Link to Board

How we work with the health system
